Why we exist

It started from a simple itch: where do you actually go to find everything happening in Gippsland this weekend? There was no good answer, so we built one. The heart of it is Gippsland Daily, the free two-minute read that lands every morning with what’s on, what’s happened, and what’s worth knowing across the region. The website is the living guide that feeds it.

Independent and local: not a council, not a tourism body, not a national masthead. For Gippslanders, by Gippslanders.

Who runs this

Gippsland.co is run by Gippsland Co. An independent, Gippsland-based project, a single, fast, no-nonsense front door to the region, run locally rather than by a big-city media company. Questions, corrections, or want your event featured? Email hello@gippsland.co.

How we work

We gather what’s happening across the region, write it up in our own words, and link you straight to the source, we don’t republish. You’ll always see where something came from. We respect each source’s terms and don’t copy article text, notices or licensed listings.

Advertise with us

Gippsland Daily puts your business in front of engaged locals who’ve chosen to hear from us each week, far more valuable than a banner ad nobody clicks. We keep it tasteful: a small number of clearly-marked sponsor slots in the newsletter and on the site, with category exclusivity so you’re not next to a competitor.
